I've got a Fibre glass boot extension for the 2cv, it's pretty old & has never painted. I'd like to know the best thing to try & revive the shine, i've tried all sorts now & nothing touches it..... Any ideas will be gratefully received!

I've found with my kit cars that marine products designed for fibreglass hulls are pretty good. I've used this Starbrite stuff, worked pretty well on a faded green gelcoat: marinestore.co.uk/page/mrst/PROD/cleaners-boat/MD381816/After I treated it with the starbrite stuff I just gave it a coat of Autoglym super resin polish to protect it. Do you really want it to shine Ash? Bit of dirt and age int going to hurt, and it'll suit the rest of your car as it is, I'd save yourself the time and arm ache and leave it as is. It looks a right handy piece of kit!
