Right, it's with a very heavy heart I've decided to part with the Cressida. It's a car I never thought I'd let go, but a couple of recent unexpected deaths in the family has made me review life both in terms of finances and time. I'd rather not go into details, but it seems the best thing to do is to pass the baton on to hopefully another RR member. For me personally this was always one of a handful of cars that sum up exactly what RR is all about, and I'd love to see someone give it the love it needs. I've onwed the car since 2010, with the previous owner being RMad off here, who had it since 2004 (so it's got 10 years of RR history). Log book states there are two previous owners.
Since owning the car I've not done much with it at all if I'm honest as the plan was always to put money away and do the car properly when time allowed. Unfortunately, as always life slowed that process down with the usual house renovations, babies etc, so it's always pretty much been tucked up, with the occasional sunny Sunday trip out. I had the necessary work done to get it roadworthy again (welding to rear of sills), plus fitted a new clutch as the old one fell to pieces.
I've just taken it for an MOT this week which it went straight through. Only advisories are that the springs are modified (i.e cut), but there is nothing wrong with them. I've also just taxed it for six months.
The car is currently running 4x114.3 to 6x139.7 adaptors, with BF Goodrich Split Rim wheels. If the buyer decided against these, the price will be reduced accordingly. The interior is awesomely stock, whilst the outside is showing signs of wear, but it still easily turns heads.
I'm not really sure what else to say, as this is a pretty hard ad for me to write. I'll get some pictures of it up in its current guise over the weekend (I'm using a different computer to the one with all my pictures on), the only two I have to hand are pretty poor;
Though obviously various pictures of the car can be found on here or elsewhere online (albeit with the old wheels);
Thanks for looking, please PM me with any interest, and I'll do my best to get up to date pics up this weekend. I'll give it a week on here before advertising it on other sites, as I'd really like to keep it in the fold
