What happened to the electronic dizzy? You can't get decent points any more so the points dizzies are a bit of a waste of time.

Looks like it's had a bit of money spent on it in the past - round the engine bay anyway.

I did try and move it via straight bar, however the plate with the tow hole attached to the buffer is missing one bolt it turns out (thanks previous owner!), so at the end of my road, when I stopped the B pushed on the bar, which twisted the tow plate until it turned popped the hook of the tow bar out and came to a stop with the B's chrome bumper in my rear tow vehicles bumper. I thought better of carrying on, the brakes work if your braver than me.

It was starting before I put the old dizzy in, so in theory with enough juice and some fiddling it would move under it's own power.

The wires.
One year has the horn on the centre of the steering wheel, another has it on the push of the indicator stalk.
So if we combine a new push stalk body with the old multi plug, we keep the horn centre push, but gain another switch on the push while looking stock!.
The plan was to connect the extra switch to an electric pump for the washer jets. However to be on the safe side I kept the full length of wires from both bits, so it's tempoarly hooked around the dash light rheostat awaiting a tidy up. The connections for the indicator wires are made using spade connectors, so I could plug in a hazard warning kit.
The little square plug is from the stalk push.







I spent a decent chunk on a fancy new dizzy, plugs and sports coil and not got much use out of them. So rather than give them away I pulled them for when I get another B in the future, refitting the old but functional at time it was removed old kit.

If you really want I could figure out what the setup owes me and for the loss of a few quid refit and add it to the price.

New water pump after it failed, new thermostat and hosing, new water pipes (rad and heater), new bolts and spaces for the fan after it turned the old pump pulley bolt holes were metric, new heater return pipe and brackets to replace the length of 22mm house pipe the previous owner had used.
