Before we begin this weeks photo extravaganza / OOOOFF-Fest I have a short story to tell. I was driving to the event this morning, in my Bini, when I see some very bright and somewhat 'wobbly' lights closing incredibly quickly behind me. As I looked again the car that the lights that they where attached to howled past me. The noise was beyond description, a combination of feral F1 sound but deeper, more ground-shaking. The red and white blur that flew past me looked for all the world like a Le-Mans cast-off stepping out of a time warp. So I get to C&C, the featured cars are Alfa Romeo and look at what was there...... As soon as the rest of the pics are uploaded I will link them up - but this thing utterly blew my mind - seeing this on the freeway is way more interesting that an Enzo

Wow!! How I wish that would happen over here in dear ol' Blighty, unfortunately the howl of the engine would be drowned out by the howls of protest from all poxy tofu-eating soap-dodging panty-waists in charge of things these days.

That's one cool Alfa. Stunning. I think we're being a little harsh on ol' Blighty. The eco-nazi's haven't won yet, and we're all free to drive whatever car we like. I've seen crazy stuff driving on our roads, and I reckon there are still a fair few motors like that being driven to track days around the country from time to time.

max you need a voice recorder hehe Good idea ! I'll see if I can pick one up today - next week hopefully we will be thrilling to the sounds of a GT500 with open pipes, an original GT40 getting red-lined as it exit's stage-left and many other oddities that I saw (and heard) today. The second best sound was an ear-splitting drag car - I am in upload hell at the moment - hopefully the pics will upload in the next few hours Meanwhile a minor tease..... or two or Three

A definite Oooff at the Alfa! Love the rear view mirror! I have seen some pretty wierd and wild stuff on English roads so it can be done ;D
