I have decided to put my 1958 Ford Edsel project up for sale as I've not had much interest in my truck and I still need to buy parts for my race car. The Edsel is a 1958 pacer 2 door. My plan was to build a mild custom out of it. The body is relatively solid although has had a few dodge repairs over the years. The hood and front panel needs repair. Some places have been hit back to bare metal and left so has some surface rust but this is no way a rot box. It has all the trim, the bumpers are strait and not rotted but do have surface rust. The front and rear screens are not cracked. The interior is I pretty good shape and all looks to be complete.
I bought the car with no engine and box so I decided I wanted to fit a modern V8 witch I could get good mpg from, So my plan was to fit a ford modular 4.6 V8 engine and four speed auto with od box from a 1995 Lincoln with only 43000 mile on it. These engine are being used a lot in the states and are 210 bhp with all the smog stuff on them. I got as far as placing it in the engine bay to see if it would fit so will need to be mounted if you decide to use it. It comes with all the wiring loom, ecu, prop end, rad everything you need to get it going. I would consider selling it without the engine and box if you don't like the ideal of the injection.
