urgent help on bmw e28 528 dizzy cap

	oh no Ive seem to have put the leads on wrong when I was swapping the dizzy cap over. its the M30 engine with a round dizzy cap on it. the haynes manual doesnt help, and the dizzy caps don't tell me any lead numbers - can any body offer any suggestions - I need to move the car out of the garage tomorrow morning to get at the other one.

	hope I'm not too late! try this- for number one position, take the cap off and then remove the rotor and flashover shield. look the dizzy head on (directly over it) and there should be a line/notch in the outer casing visible from your veiw point. that matches number one plug lead on the cap. as you can then guess from the pic I posted, add the leads in a clockwise direction first 1 then 5 then 3-6-2-4. hope that gets out of trouble
