It is time to move on the K70…
A 1972 model, registered in 1973 and had the Optional extra of head restraints in the front. It is a 1605cc Engine with 74hp finished in L61 B Sumatra Green. A LHD car originally from Sweden and waxoiled from new underneath, so very solid.
MOT until 23/12/2014 and Tax Exempt.
New front disks, pads and rebuilt callipers and the rear brakes are recent, but included are a set of new shoes also. Has had a new back box and mid-section of the exhaust.
We are the third owners of the car, the first owning it for over 30 years before including it in the sale of her house as her health deteriorated. The new owners had it for a couple of years before we became its new guardians!
The body and paintwork is in amazing original condition, showing the odd touch up of stonechips by the original owners and the paint polishes up very well, as does the chrome. The door gaps, boot area and bonnet area come up just as well as the exterior paint! The interior is immaculate and mechanically, it is a real pleasure to drive.
Comes complete with a tow bar and working electrics and after-market ‘Albert’ towing wing mirrors mounted to the wings by the original owner. It also has a block heater, commonly fitted to cars in Sweden due to the cold temperatures, but this is untested.
