My Wheels Day pics - loads of 'em!

This was my first Wheels Day, I'd heard a lot about it over the years but never really expected to ever go - it's too close to Woerthersee in terms of time and too far south in terms of distance. But this year I was in the right place at the right time so three of us piled into my E36 and we headed down.

I know a lot of people were disappointed but I certainly wasn't... It was fantastic! We queued for an hour (looking online we saw that we needed to avoid Guildford so we took a back-road route which paid off) but that was no problem with good company and an interesting selection of cars in front of us. What surprised me most was the sheer eclectic mix of motors - drift cars, historic rally cars, muscle cars, stanced, hot rods, stock, racers, all kinds... All mixed together and getting along nicely. My camera got a good workout.

I'd definitely go again if I got the opportunity to. Hopefully there will be a Wheels Day next year.
