For me one of the best features of the gathering has been the fun and games on the Friday night. We have always camped at the bottom of the field (at prescott) and in the past brought guitars and even a mini drum kit. I wondered this year if people would be up for something similar but involving more people?
It was suggested last year that there would be a bit of live music but the weather was terrible and nothing materialised.
I have a reasonable sized marquee (basicly 3 gazebos in a row with one large cover plus sides) and my old Skoda has some decent sized amps and a couple of 6.5mm inputs - ie mic and guitar...
So my question is, would anyone be up for this? And are we allowed? I haven't ever been to Shelsey walsh so I don't know what the set up is like.

I'm up for this! Will bring my guitar and mic stand if someone had a small generator I could bring my acoustic amp which works like a small PA

I'm still up for hosting it, the car is in the garage being prepared and I am getting a Mic sorted out tomorrow.

No need for generators, you can plug two sources direct into the car. I was thinking guitar and Mic unless anyone wants more, in which case...splitter?

I have a 4 channel mixing desk I can bring (2 XLR or 1/4' jack, 2 1/4' jack) if anyone needs more. Could plug left and right into the two channels in the car and have up to four inputs?

I now have a dual wireless Mic setup. It sounds pretty epic. Spread the word, would be great to have a few bands come. I have a vintage electric guitar but ideally others could bring theirs.... And maybe a bass?

Whenever feels right! 7 or 8 perhaps? Just come to the marquee whenever for a sound check... I was thinking also, we could do karaoke if people are up for that too!
