I have a few Questions about my p100 which i have had for a while. It would be great to get some definite answers.
First.
The fuel gauge.I am sure the sender in the tank is broken and not the actual gauge in the dash. Just wondered which would be the best way to go about fixing it permanently. The sender units seem to be curse word for starters is there a better replacement then the original set up? As i don't want to replace with a new one only for it to stop working again.
Second
The wheels wow its so hard to get wheels for this truck nightmare. I have heard that under the front wheels there are adapters which convert the pcd back to 5x112 OR 5x108 which is it? Also what about the back axle, I know a capri one can be fitted but this cant be done i live in ireland where capri axles are slim and none are slim and none. I would think the 5x112 or the 5x108 would open up wheel selection for the truck but i wondered how wide i could go on the front and how wide on the back. I would be thinking slotmags on the rear with a little bit of a dish and same on front. I will also be lowering the rear. I heard escort mk 2 leafs do a good job of lowering the rear. But thinking il lose load bearing capacity. And am trying to figure could i mod the leafs springs to sit lower but still be strong enough to take its total load capacity or near to it???
