went over to brafield for the annual NASC swapmeet on sunday. it gets worse every year more quality at some boot sales TBH. It really pains me to say that. it has been good in the past. got a few bargains tho. If you want a book recommendation, the first 4 editions of dice have been put together into a book and its awesome anyway a few piccies from the event and on the way- spotted on the way. presumably off to the 'pod. bit of a late start tho. first time being car sick- seeing this cool hauler with proper patina galaxy trio of old haulers. more in a mo.....

OOOFF! too much chop for full fenders IMO. pink PC. back to seventies! bill board windshield? check! crome jag axle? check! beer barrel tank? check! brass craft headlamps? check! appears that it might have had some form of SVA because of all the extra lights and rubbish.

I'm going to have to agree with you bodieanddoyl unpopular pi55 pots plus is expensive so its not selective its everyone he tries to rip off but there must be someone buying as he has been going for a while i don't look anymore after he tried to charge me £65 for a used 3'' 5 point harness that was FIA approved and it was 5 years old but lets be grown up about it and not slag him off here he's not worth effort so just boycott his stall then eventually he may bring his prices down if enough stop buying

Its a Galaxie not a Galaxy. The Galaxy is a MPV....
Pop Parts Plus - I have found his prices to be OK and his postage (when needed) to be good also. I also had some useful advice off the man when I had my 100E. If a stall's prices are too high don't buy. Simple really.
Love that '58 Chevy wagon.

Funny, some stuff he selss is expensive and some isn't. I do notice a lot of stuff he has is the same stuff he had last time, same manifolds, that blue axle, the black blower etc. I'd love to have his parts bin though

I've known Julian for a long time. Sure, some of his prices are higher than you might want to pay but it's a business after all. Also, he doesn't pay as little for his stock as you might think. He's always got what you need and he's very helpful. You can take stuff back if its not right as well. Give the guy a break. At the end of the day he's trying to make a living. As Alister says, if it's too expensive don't buy it.

That pink PC Cresta is ace! Still glad I didn't get up early to go there though.
As for PPP I hope they've changed suppliers for their 100E "repair" panels...

my apologies fror the galaxie typo, pedants ;D you knew what i meant and that was good enough. also apologies about PPP, i have had some stuff off of him over the years. £500 for rover heads just because of the roller rockers and rebuild? seems too much IMO, but if he prices it up, it must be "on the money" for someone. but then he had a pair of GRP e493a wings (and I really needed 'em) I paid £90 which i thought was pretty good. swings and roundabouts really, everyone is more expensive nowadays, its just too easy to point the finger in one direction. lets not turn things negative. sorry anyway, looks like you enjoyed the pics, which is why the thread is here. I only came home with an oil tank for my bsa, some micro caddy style bullet lights, some snap-on stuff (dealer raided his own van, LOL) and the first 4 issues of dice. I would scan some pics, but theres some huge warnings throughout it about copyright and stuff
