finished in cosmos blue
this is the non sunroof model which are getting quite rare now and don't suffer from the usual rot like on the sunroof models
the shells are a lot stronger too
she has all her original panels
inside-
fitted with the blue gl interior with chrome strips on the door cards with matching chrome window winders
inside is immaculate there is no wear to the seats or the carpets
both front seats adjust as they should
it has the brown dash board which is uncracked and not faded
brown short center console again showing no signs of wear
the handbrake gaitor is brown again is immaculate
the carpets front and rear are like new
the boot carpet is immaculate
fitted with the 3 spoke steering wheel again showing no signs of wear
it has had the six pod dash convertion with a pioneer head unit fitted but included in the sale is the original cluster and dash facia
the mileage on the car is I belive very very low the car is just too clean and original to be higher
now the previous owner fitted the six pod dash from the mot records via vosa in 2008 the car was bought after being off the road for many years the milage was 30,399 then he run it for a bit and removed the original clocks and replaced with the six pod convertion the old clocks read 30,866 the new clocks read 65,623 they now read 66,289 so on the original clocks it had done 487 miles then on the new clocks it had done 666 miles so adding the 666 to the original clocks the car has done 31,552 now ive owned quite a few capris in my time and I do belive these miles to be genuine there is no wear on the interior where is normally would @ 131,552 however I don't have any paper work to validate this but once you see the car you will see what I mean
getting back to the car its self
fitted with the 1.6 pinto engine bolted up the original four speed gearbox she goes through all the gears as she should with no whines or crunching
it has a few upgrades
there is a ashly full exhaust sytem fitted along with a four branch
brighter bulbs fitted in the head lights
a brand new webber 32/36 twinchoke carb with manual choke
a brand new chrome k&n filter
new fuel lines
rocker cover blasted and powder coated in silver
inlet manifold blasted and painted silver
new points,condensor and dizzy cap
new plugs
new oil
she runs and drives spot on there are no heating issues
fitted with laser alloys with good tyres
the body work is in good condition the car has been zebraited from new
this has been done under the car inside the boot floor and under the bonnet
underneath is immaculate there in no welding been done on the car non is there any needed
there is a dent to the front of the passenger wing one on the passenger door(looks like someone has opened the door on something)and a scrape on the passenger side rear arch
as for the two dents mentioned the dent devil will be able to remove them as there not major dents there about the size of a tennis ball
there are a few bits here and there that have been touched in over the years ie stonechips but nothing major as you can see by the pictures she shines and looks very well (just to add on the drivers side in the pictures that's not a different shade of blue its the fence causing a shadow)
one key works all locks there are two keys for the car
its had new-
front calipers
discs and pads
rear shoes
fitting kits
so she brakes as she should
I was going to remove the six pod dash convertion and put the priginal one back in but with me moting it with them in ive left it up to the new owner
this is a very very nice car the base model capris are becoming rare now
and with this being the non sunroof model it makes it even nicer
