i have a turreted Capri thats used group 4 escort turrets to take mk2 escort coilovers, which are frankly a silly price compared to others i have seen escort shocks measure 575mm fully open and 358mm fully closed i am looking for this kind of fitment type i have looked at mk3 golf shocks, but they are a lot too long! can anybody think of anything that may work? cheers for any help

mk1 golf / 6n polo rears are a fair bit shorter than mk3 golf ones.

Will check out early golf and 6n polos, cheers The ones on RD don't seem a bad price, will give them a bell and see what price they are in the size and format i want, cheers for that!

They're GAZ shocks so check out their catalogue. It's available from their website. www.gazshocks.comLists all the measurements etc.

Ended up going for Gaz ones that are made for escorts with 180Ib springs, just easier and I know they will bolt straight on
