As soon as I take some pics this is going on eBay but if anyone is interested in the mean time and wishes to view then they are welcome at Werrington, Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a 1971 Austin Sprite - one of the 82 known to still exist in the world out of 1022 made when the agreement with Healey finished. It's been off the road for many years and needs restoring but is an easy project as not bodged like many Spridgets. Even the sills and floor are original !
Chrome bumper with square wheel arches. Wheels are the rarer type of sculptured and not the more common Rostyles. NOS bootlid and excellent secondhand bonnet already sourced - included in the sale.
What is missing - seats, engine & gearbox, propshaft, speedo & rev counter and pedal box (all needed for my Marlin). Everything else there so idea for a K Series / Type 9 conversion.
"Cherished" reg - GPH 47K.
V5 held in my name. Currently stating Austin Healey and VED due but DVLA say they will change the details to Historic band when next taxed and V5 with confirmation that it's an Austin Sprite instead of Austin Healy Sprite.

It's been in storage since so hasn't deteriorated much and as I have already said bonnet has been changed / NOS bootlid ready to be fitted.
There is also a repair panel for the missing rear corner.
My intention was to convert to a Frogeye or Arkley but driving position doesn't suit my disabilities and the car would need substantial modification to suit me hence deciding to go with the Marlin instead.
Anyway is anyone is interested the price is £500 and I'm sorry that is fixed so no offeres.
