Is there anyone from Wigan or Rainford, or the Merseyside area generally?
There is a guy up there who recently broke a 1967 Hillman Minx which happens to be the same colour as mine (hearing aid beige and brown interior). Unfortunately he sent the car off the breakers with the interior in it which is just what I happen to need from it.
The car is apparently at G&E Breakers, phone number g &e breakers 01744 30088.
I'm way down in Surrey but I would desperately like the door trim, seats and parcel shelves (front and rear) if in good nick as mine are all kind of tatty. I possibly would be interested in the instrument panel as well and I was wondering if there was someone around there who could nip by and pull those parts off for me.
I'll be phoning the yard tomorrow to find out if they still have the car and the price for these pieces.
