Regretfully my old Benz is up for sale, bought to replace my W202 which had too much electrickery for it's own good and died from a stupid electrical fault. Wanted to go old school but the old man is getting a new Audi and i'm inheriting his A4. Simply don't have space for another car.
Pictures taken just before the Sahara rain debacle, so she's a bit dustier than the pics show now. Just ticked over 109k this weekend.
12 months MOT
6 Months tax
Only asking what I paid for her plus the price of the tax and MOT (which she passed first time I might add) Plans originally were to hit her with the lowering stick, but I enjoy wafting about in the thing too much! Absolute delight to drive, so i only got as far as removing the wheel trims... which are in the boot if you want them. Have not even changed the stereo as i've been enjoying listening to the tapes of my yoof... but will chuck in a Sony CD head unit.
Generally pretty good condition, few scuffs and scrapes here and there - the worst being the rear passenger door - the previous owner was an elderly gentleman. The ambient digital temperature gauge is useless, and the engine temperature gauge sometimes has a mind of it's own. But a swift slap on the dash binnacle sorts it. Loads of service history. Has towbar, but i've never used it. Believe the guy I bought it off had used to tow a small trailer for garden waste so I assume the electric works, but would say 'untested'.
Will even throw in the SUPER RARE "Dan Gurney for President" sticker, given to me by the man himself at his Santa Ana facility!
Cheers, Bill
