For sale is my black golf gti 8v with 131k.
The car has tax until the end of the month and mot until late July.
It has bbs 15" alloys with 2 new tyres and 2 with very reasonable tred, koni springs and shocks. Other than that it is totally standard.
Mechanically the car had no faults and handles a daily 50 mile commute with no issues.
MFA is fully functional, seats are rip free, headlining is immaculate. All speakers have been uprated and a CD player with iPod connection is included.
Body wise there is a crack in the bumpers and a small dent in the o/s/f wing and again under the rear light. I've had a quote locally for £200 to repair that I can pass details on for. though these do not detract from the overall tidy appearance of the car. It still looks like a looked after example and a very good looking car.
The car was originally white, however was subject to a respray in 2005, it was clearly an expensive job as all door shuts etc were done and the paint still shines. All paperwork has correctly been changed and I have the paint code.
The previous owner was a vw tech and done the following within the last 24 months.
Head gasket
Cambelt with tensioners
Heather matrix
aswel as a list full of other jobs.
To summarise this is a not mint, but a very presentable example that can handle daily use with no issues. I feel this is a very reasonable price considering what others are priced at.
