This is a very good little mini. Originally built for my son.
Always runs. Used as a daily commute car originally, its not getting used anymore as we have 3 other minis currently on the road.
Seems a shame to let such a good mini sit in a garage not being used.
Never had a bit of trouble starting up in the wet, cold or snow!
This is the work I did on it just under 3 years ago:
1 brand new front end panel complete.
2 new grill and headlights and headlight surround.
3 new front wings and new A panels.
4 new scuttle panel + new under scuttle panels on both side.
5 new door skins on both front doors.
6 new inner and outer sills on both sides.
7 welded and repaired any rust on the floor.
8 new complete rear back panels.
9 new rear lower scuttle panel.
10 new stainless front and rear bumpers.
11 new front and rear windscreen rubbers and sealant strip.
12 new laminated dashboard.
13 cooper s clocks with rev counter.
14 1000 cc engine and gearbox that at the time had done only 30 000 miles.
15 rear end has the windows darkened out by body and stripes in blackwood.
16 new rear sub frame.
17 new brakes pipes and new rear wheel cylinders plus new brake shoes.
18 new front brake pads fitted now.
19 new front steering rack just fitted not used on the road yet.
20 new battery cable fitted from front to rear.
21 new RC 40 exhaust fitted with 3 branch manifold.
22 1" 3/4 SU Carburettor.
23 brand new 12 Mini light type wheels with brand new tyres not been on the road yet.
24 Removable bonnet.
25 new door handles and boot lid handle.
26 new arches with stainless arches on top.
27 new number plate holders stainless steel.
28 Aluminium rocker cover.
29 A complete re spray.
30 Where it was possible I have wax oiled.
If this car needed anything, we did it.
