	Probably sound a little silly, but I've not owned a car before so I don't actually know..... My MOT has run out, so does the car have to be SORN'd? Or is it only when tax runs out (which is in 11 months time!)

	Only when the tax runs out. I think now the MOT is on the DVLA's database the Police's ANPR cameras can flash up anything being driven with no MOT, but SORN only applies to tax.
