The dirty crappy slow 3.5 Rangie Auto with leaky rich running petrol and a part working traveller bitsa LPG system went in for the MOT this morning.
And passed, and was commented by the tester that looks "rough looking, but underneith one of the better ones I've seen, all the suspension mountings, body and gearbox mounts have been changed, and it even drives nice and tight".
Now I can fix the LPG and put a radio in it.

Nice one!!! The drive home with the fresh MOT certificate lying on the passenger seat is one of the best, isn't it!!!

Oh yeah. Some of the side trim is a loose, and the wings and doors have big dents, and the top tail gate is shagged. But it meets the legal minimum safe requirement.
And some modern dailys at 3 years old can't do that. Once I have it idling on LPG, it will even be environmentally friendly on fuel as well as being heavily re-cycled (15 previous owners).

Now it has a ticket, and I've started to get a feel for it, there is a small list of must do's to sort.
Must find a local northern welder with a high roofed workshop (rear diff casing is leaking and has been bodged with epoxy putty). Get a radio. Get a flap opener for the AFM and get it running properly on gas.
