Its not like I don't already have a capri or three, but yesterday I got another one. And another child "claimed" it as their own...
proved his point by doing a professionals type slide across the (filthy) bonnet with his school uniform on
yard now looks like this hehehe
and inside the car, along with the mouse nest (garaged since the tax went out in '99), I found these quality items ;D
Conor looked at them thoughtfully and then said "Dad? is it ok if we don't put them on the car?" lol!!! Anyone want, PM me!
now, the spots... over the last few weeks, clearing out my camera.
good...
i see this imp around a bit, looks well loved!
bad...
Near-terminal essex engined S1 swb landrover, rescued and transported to safe haven
ugly...
picking Jade up from her mates, how the hell he gets that over the speedbump at the entrance to the estate I'll never know.
annoying.
I'm SUCH a big scooby fan that I don't mind coming home at 8:30pm in the truck and finding this pastel monstrosity in my space
and finally the question....
Anyone played with the internals of an EECIV ecu with PATS built in? I'm using the ecu in a custom install and would like to dispose of the chipkey and transponder. I'm hoping I can track the PATS on the bourd to the point where it sends gnd or Vref to the processor as an ok signal, allowing the injectors and fuelpump relay to ground. I do know that when the PATS is separate, a digital signal is transmitted between modules rather than a simple 0 or 1, but this is only to prevent theft by swapping the PATS module and chip key together. With PATS on the ECU this is not possible, and ford being ford the cost saving in circuitry suggests that this extra security layer may not be present.
I know, long shot! but worth a try.
