Sorry to those interested in this when i advertised it in February, didn't really want to sell but now decided it really has to go.
It was up for £1000 then but it has a full year MOT now and i'm including the M-Parallel wheels (can throw in the style 32's if desired), i've also done welding to the rear of the sills and fitted new rear shocks and springs.
Not had this long, had big plans for it, love it but i really want to get on with my Escort project this year and i've realised that's not going to happen while i have this.
Also with other stuff on the go i fear this will end up sitting around for long periods which is a shame.
Oxford green, superb sand beige Buffalo hide leather everywhere (including dash and door cards), it's an iL meaning it's about 8 inches longer than a normal E38 making it just under 17 feet long.
Needless to say fully loaded with toys, phone (works with supplied O2 P.A.Y.G SIM), electric heated memory seats (electric heated in rear), electric blind in rear window (great for pi%%ing off tailgaters ), manual blinds in rear side windows, electric sunroof, air con (untested), six CD multichanger, one touch engine start, double glazing (yes really) probably other stuff i've not found or forgotten, sadly the screen on the dash is dead, fuses are ok so i recon it's the video unit, these are easily available S/H though, also the cruise control is not working (suspect this may be a wheel speed sensor) but this hasn't bothered me.
The 5.4 litre V12 is silky smooth, not tried the coin balancing trick but it would probably work, standard output is 326 but this has been re-mapped to 360, needless to say it's very quick and power delivery is turbine smooth (and very quiet)
You shouldn't be looking at this car if you need to ask the fuel consumption , but as some will be wondering around town it's about 16, on a run about 26
Not much history but previous owner did a lot of work he has listed on a thread on another forum i'll post a link to later.
Bodywork is generally good, slight startings of rust in the rear arch lips and a tiny ding in the boot lid, paint shines up really nice
I've just fitted new front Sachs shocks and Lesforder springs to the front, new KYB shocks and springs on the rear and a new N/S/F wheel bearing.
I also replaced all three washer pumps as they were all siezed.
Angel eye's, yellow tinted fogs and main beams. comes fitted with the chrome kidney grills not the black ones.
Will come with the M-Parallels and can throw in the style 32's
100% confident the car will drive anywhere in the world tomorrow if needed.
Will add more info and pics depending on interest.
Just fitted new K&N filters and gave the engine bay a clean this weekend.
