This is a 1995 TVR Chimaera, 4.0LTR in silver with dark blue interior and roof. I can't imagine why TVR fitted a radio given the glorious noise it makes. It has the later serpentine engine and T5 gearbox with Foxguard alarm which is much better than the early cars. It had a complete new roof last summer, four new tyres in December and is MOt'd until Oct 2014. It has some nice aluminium upgrade switching and knobs in the cabin and a tidy stainless dashboard. Its nice presentable car which I am driving 40 miles every day, returning 25mpg on average. Everything is in working order. A spreadsheet comes with the car recording all its fuel fill ups and miles. It is priced to sell and there is room for a bit of haggling, the sun is shining and summer is on the way.

I was just thinking about looking for one of these...
Few questions..
Whats the mileage (if the mileometer works...) ? any history to back it up?
Is it an HC or standard 4.0?
what's the chassis like, can you get any photos of the outriggers?
Is it a power steering model?
Does it get hot in traffic, is it still fitted with the standard TVR plastic capped radiator?
Do the heater controls work properly, i.e. not stuck on warm/hot like most of the cars..
Is the bootlid wonky on the side with the strut? a lot of them seem to deform after a while..

Not an HC Chassis - at this price you might be safest to assume it'll need work in the future. Not PAS - very rewarding to drive and not onerous to park. Runs at 70degs on the motorway and at 90degs in traffic, no drama. Heater controls work. Bootlid not wonky. Come see it, I'm prepared to sell at a price that reflects what it is. There's a deal to be done.
