Anyone got any idea/able to make a guess at how much it is likely to cost to have two Cobra Classic bucket seats re trimmed in vinyl, or depending on cost, leather? They are the low back ones like these..... TBH I'm assuming it's fairly difficult for anyone to try and estimate a price, so instead does anyone have any retrimmers they have used before and would recommend? Preferably in the Leedish or Essexish areas? Cheers one and all

the seats themselves aren't that pricey....you might find it cheaper buying seats at a car show or something. i think i paid £70 each for my cobras...and when i asked about getting my cooper seats retrimmed they wanted about £90 just to re do the boulsters

I paid £40 to have one seat base taken apart and restiched.
I recovered my recaro's myself, sewing by hand. Looks good too! Took 3 days though and runined my fingers ;D

Ditto, just finishing a bolster repair. I got a an offcut to match from the local trimmers (about 2ft x 1 ft for a fiver), used the old piece to pre-make holes in the new one so it would all match up.
While I was there I asked how much it would cost to recover a Minor rear seat in leather - they reckoned about £300 to £350. More than I would pay but it gives you an idea.

What colour are you after? Cobras can come in a few colours, and leather too. Link

Always loved the look of those seats, however I doubt my rather ample back side would comfortably rest in it though

Brand new, been in a car which never got on the road after, so already on imp subframes. I saw them on ebay 5 mins after they went up, turns out it was a guy I know because I bought some parts off him before. Quick email, quick chat, £120, auctions finished and another stop to my epic tour on Friday, yes please
