Hi All, I'm looking at getting some weller wheels but most I can find are 4x108 and my car is 4x100. Has anyone ever had a new PCD drilled into weller or steel wheels and is it safe to do so(professionally obv)? If so and it's ok to do, can anyone recommend someone to do it, preferably in the South Wales area? Thanks in advance Rob

I think at one time Weller would drill new wheels to whatever PCD you required so might be worth asking them if they would still do the same if you bought new from them. When you take into account having a second hand sets of wheels professionally drilled then the cost might be similar. Also I had a set of Weller's on my Land Rover (bought new) and they very quickly went rusty so suspect most second hand might also need refurbishing. BTW they are heavier than standard steels so you increase unsprung weight. FWIW The Dutton kit car was at one time build using Triumph front suspension and Ford back axle so PCD was different. You could buy a wheel with BOTH sets of PCD so reckon no problem having them redrilled as you suggest.

Weller released a new roadsport range last year in 4x100 pattern. 13 / 14 / 15 x 7 / 7.5 /8j around £80 ea. Not worth mucking about really. Try Polleysport also.
