Not all French cars are ugly, but some are just abortions! Others just unusual and undesirable. This is a thread for those cars. I'll start with my choices. First of all, the fugly Peugeot 1007. Now for the confusing and oddly designed C3 Pluriel. Let's see some of your choices.

I think you will be better off starting a thread on beautiful French cars

I like the two you've posted!! They're far more quirky than equally sized bland-boxes from other manufacturers. Sliding doors and a multi-option roof? c'est super cool!
Jim - WTF is that piece of art? Fudging magnificent!
p.s. mo' positivity yeah?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Given a few years that 1007 will be all kinds of awesome slammed, cool rims and lets face it how many small cars have sliding doors never mind electric sliding doors.
Even play with the interior rock and roll bed? Huge audio? Crazy plush interior the canvas is blank. I wouldn't say no if I was given one.

Some days you just need to take a grinder to an inanimate object, just to make your day a tiny bit better!!

True, but we all know the pretty ones. Time for something different Thats not how this place works. We like stuff you like. We want to see the cool stuff. We want to see the rare, notable stuff. Not the stuff you like to point and laugh at. This'll get locked soon enough. Save it with cool French cars ASAP.

Figoni and Falaschi Delahaye 135 Other coachbuilders of the time used to refer to them as Phoney and Flashy.

These are awesome: Can't see any negativity here. The French have always made fugly cars. In a good way. These are not. My sister-in-law works for peugeot & they refuse to sell these on as they loose to much money when the doors break (which they do, a lot, thanks to a design flaw that means water gets into the doors electrics)

Why pick on the French? All nations have made some pretty Frugly cars...it's all in the eye of the beholder. Why not start a thread about French cars that you love, but are unloved by most?
