Love the clover leafs. Its been more than enough time now to appreciate them in their own right rather than berate them for not being their daddy or grandaddy.

I know of an xr3 or xr3i in a really nice blue colour for sale for not very much.... Had a full body resto 7 years ago, and has sat in a industrial estate unit ever since, the dash has cracked, but apart from that its gorgeous.
If i had the funds id brake my ford hating habit and have it in a second...

That yellow one is an über rare Xr3 (non i) in Prarie Yellow. I remember reading about them once. Personally I think its a horrible colour, ergo its a rare one!
I always liked the run out Mk3 XR3i. Think they had MkIV round headrests and ran a different tyre profile - subtly different look.

Pros - They look great, easy to modify, loads of spares about.
Cons - Rust like curse word, wrong wheel drive (!), anybody over 40 will think you're a boy racer

Great looking cars, haven't seen a good one for ages. I'll not be swapping my Golf for an XR3i or RS1600i though ;D

Oh God.....stop giving me ideas.....most of this will work on a Mk4 'Scort just as well, even if it HAS got a sewing machine HCS under the bonnet!!
