Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

hahah, bloody Aussies  Sure, they're not a bad looking car, and I'd have one on that merit, but take away their looks and you're left with something particularly uninspiring, in standard form at least. There's certainly been a massive jump in Aussie "SuperCar/MuscleCar" prices of late. |

Blimey that sounds like a lot (without using any convertor)! they are great lookers, but not so hot? any of the other retro Aussie cars any good, I always thought they were the best of both worlds. slightly smaller muscle with right hand drive  |

It's one of the ultimate Aussie cars. Great bit of history there, bloody rare too. Wonderful looking things in my opinion. $60,000AU is about £25k.
At least it's not yet another one of those dull VW split camper things at silly money.

Bah ! Thrasher dream car alert.
Wanted one of them since i was about 6 I saw a pic my uncles Fairmont.
I like the saloon ones also, but a coupe would be cool as a cucumber.
