I've spent ages working on this but I've now got a 3dr Mk4 Cortina that's sapping all my time so it's time to move it on to someone else who'll get some use out of it.

I bought this car about 3 years ago after the previous owner (Phil2600) did shiz load of work to it fitting the revo wheels and a heavy duty rimmers lowering kit.
At the same time it had new wings etc and a bit of bodywork. I then did quite a bit of welding to it and fitted the JDM style arches.
I've never seen an SD1 like it and it's about 5 inches lower than a standard SD1 (not great for speed bumps).
The motor is a standard 2600 straight six. It can be a little grumpy sometimes when cold but it's not got it's standard air box on it. When it's going it goes well and although not really fast goes along great. What it loses in straight line speed it makes up for in the corners. Lots of grip and NO boddy roll.
I recently fitted a new filter, gasket and new gearbox oil to the autobox so that all works well. The car's been well serviced having had new leads, plugs and filters about 1000 miles ago. It also has an oil change and new steering rack gaitors a few weeks ago.
There is an oil leak, which I now now think is coming from the oil sump gasket. It's never really bothered me too much (my drive it already covered in oil, thanks old cars.
The interior is blue velour with a Rover sport wheel. My mate borrowed the car and gutted the interior and it's now a really nice place to be and looks to be in really nice condition.
It's a great car but it needs to be driven, I fancy a change and I need to get this Cortina sorted.
It's a bit scabby under the bonnet but solid as are a few weld patches here and there. There's a few bubbles breaking through here and there but it's good for one of these.
There are some spares like lights, a set of grey front leather seats and a stainless back box I never got around to fitting that'll got with it.
