Hi;
Haven't bought one for a while but can someone recommend a supplier of quality twisted knot attachments for an Angle Grinder. I have seen a few but its hard to tell which are the cheaply made ones that don't last.
Thanks

If you go to an industrial tool specialist they should have something suitable. The kind of place engineering companies get their supplies and not the normal high street DIY tool supplier like Machine Mart. Same on-line - a place that sells to the engineering trade rather than DIY will have products that conform to all the Health and Safety requirements so should be far better than a cheap item off eBay or market stall. Be prepared to pay quite a bit - maybe 10 x what the more common DIY versions costs. Might be worth taking that into account and having to weigh up expensive but quality against cheap but not long lasting. Whichever option you choose always wear safety goggles and preferably a full face shield. I've had wire brush break up and my face was like a porcupine had sprayed me with quills ! Me - I buy cheap from Screwfix, Toolstation, etc and don't expect them to last for long. Surprisingly some from Aldi have turned out to be quite good !

A lot of Aldi's tools are from decent manufacturers with a random brand name, or so I'm told.

I always used to buy mine from Machinemart, then Screwfix came along. Their Heathrow depot is only a couple of miles away, so tend to get them from here. Never had a problem , so far!!

I must confess I've only ever used the Machine Mart jobbies - but never had a problem with them and they last a good while.
