Time to put my Dragon green VR up for sale.
I am having to sell this due to my mx5 not selling. I need to recoup some money to help out with a pending house purchase.

Unfortunately I have to sell the golf VR. The car is an excellent runner, the engine is smooth and tight. The car has a thick folder of history. I recently replaced the stat, and full housing. It has full samco hoses, new expansion tank and cap. In the past week its had new top mounts all round.
All the mods have been carried out by previous owners, I am going to name everything to what I know it has or what I have found over the course of my ownership. It is on FK coilovers which give a good ride at the height I have it at. I don't run the car low as I use multi-storey car parks. The wheels are Calibre BBS style reps and the tyres have sound tread. I have started re-furbing one as the lacquer is peeling it will be cleaned up but won't be perfect as I have to use the car daily. They do have some curbing grazing on them but nothing which is deep, they just need cleaning up.
The front bumper is smoothed taking out the edge line which goes around the bumper. The paint work is ok, the main paint work is clean and tidy and shines after a polish. The arches have been rolled and a bit of paint has flaked off. The bottom of both front wings have bit of surface rust under the paint. They haven't rotted through but its a usual thing as you all will know.
The sills have had the usual VW treatment. The front on both sides has folded. they aren't rotten through just people do not know how to jack up a car properly! However the rest of the car is solid and straight.
The interior includes the excellent looking and sitting mk3 recaro cloth seats.These are in great condition and the bolsters are firm and supportive. However the cloth on the right hand bolster on the drivers seat is getting a bit thin. The rear seat pattern does not match the front however again these aren't expensive or hard to get.
The rest of the interior is good. The headliner has been wrapped in black the rest is in the grey-ish colour. All electrics work, sunroof, mirrors, windows. The drivers side window is a bit sticky, I haven't had clean the runners up and grease them.
It has a miltek exhaust from manifold back. This sounds great when putting the foot down but it nice and quiet on normal driving.
I have tried to be as honest as possible with this car. I use it daily. Its a great car, it drives smooth and tight. It is not perfect but its all there to be taken to the next level.
One thing to note. the tailgate has been smoothed however the badge section the filler has lifter and has now been pulled out. I am looking for another tailgate to replace it so should be sorted before sale.

I am looking for £1500 ono. No swaps or PX I just need the money. I am open to offers. Its a great bit of car for the money and doesn't need anything except cosmetic clean ups.
