Its with a Heavy heart i have to sell my Colt, ive owned her for about 8 years, due to time, money, lack of skill and a family she has too many little (some may say BIG) niggles i have to let her go. If you believe I'm asking to much feedback on price received, ill try to be gracious.
The Good;
Mythology lightweight crank pully
Twin choke weber (TLDM 28/32)
Front and Rear Strut brace`s
lowered 40mm all round, with evo one struts at the front (this is also a bad point!)
Straight through stainless steel exhaust, this is a pre CAT car
Original Mitsubishi 14" alloys
Bucket seat on a fixed bracket
Chopped gear stick for shorter` shifts
Small steering wheel
Small amount of ICE, it has component speakers in the doors and in the boot
Mot`s going back to `96 including some of the refusals
Lots of history, receipts for work and parts and tuning ive had done
Workshop manuals
Ipod conectivity (35mm jack in a hole in the dash)
Wind deflectors
5th alloy wheel.

The bad
Rear offside hub has a cross threaded nut
Body work needs attention, above rear offside wheel, behind the number plate, and both wings are tatty especially the offside, i have two secondhand wings that will still require attention, but are a dam sight better.
All for alloys need a refurb, the fronts esp. as if left for 7-10 days go as flat as a witches tit.
Needs new gearbox (noisy but working)
The last straw for me was/is the clunking noise coming from the front wheels, i believe its either the driveshafts or more than one of the cv joints as it makes this horrible clunking noise when you go over 40mph of when cornering. I believe this is down to the overly stiff front suspension, of not it has relatively new rear shocks and springs.
I'm keeping the stereo.
Itll probably need a clutch as i had a new one fitted the day after i brought it (6.2.06)
I have done many things to keep the car nice, like both doors have been tetrasealed at the bottom to stop corrosion, so have all inside the rear aches and rear bumper, its always had plenty of oil and spark plug changes, and has always been kept clean and loved. I have covered around 60-70,000 miles in this car, it has never failed to start or broken down.
Back in her hey days ive never been beaten of the lights, ever. but does run out of steam at 60/70ish.
Its good on petrol 200mile to a tank, about £45 to fill up.
