We're very please to say that this year's show is in association with the wonderful folk at Retropower. When looking for partners for the event we had to think long and hard to find a company that were more than just a way to ensure that we could afford the guest cars we wanted, but were a really tight fit for what we do. A few names floated around but it kept coming back to Retropower, and rather pleasingly it seemed they were thinking in the same direction as us. After a brief courtship and a shotgun wedding we're now set as Retro Rides Gathering 2014 in association with Retropower, and dammit we like the sound of that.
So why are we so cock-a-hoop with Retropower? Well plainly stated they build great cars, in fact they build the great cars we wish we'd built, and for this we love them. Their workmanship is top notch, their facilities first rate and their results would win them prizes if they weren't sponsoring the event. Whats more they aren't just show ponies, oh no they build these fine looking cars with the intention of having them driven. These are our kind of people. Check out their website to see what they've been up to : www.retropower.co.uk
No RR Thread would be complete without pictures, so here are a couple of past projects
and a couple of current ones
