Ok due to lack of use I'm going to offer up my shonky old LDV
MOT 2015 March (11 months)
Tax out
It's been a great van but it just doesn't get the use to justify keeping it, i've done some longs trips (cornwall, Leeds) but most of the time i tend to use a trailer or just take the seats out of my wife's people carrier so this doesn't get used....
Good points
2.5 Di Transit Banana Engine in great shape, fist time starter and no smoke
Some History
Good tyres all round x6
Long Wheelbase High top TONS of room
Nicely lined out back with industrial flooring, chequer plate and carpet, fully insulated with decent florescent lights
Shelving in back up out of way floor
Very good on fuel
Everything works
Awning thing on the side, not flash but could come in handy at race meets or similar..
Recent battery and 3 out of the 6 tyres...
Bad Points...
Screwdriver for ignition key, but specially ground screwdriver, that is held in whilst 'on' would be very hard to start with any old screwdriver, locks all a bit shonky but all work with original keys..
paintwork shocking
Header tank from a vectra, works 100% just looks shonky (matches the rest of the van.....)
All locks a bit shonky but they all work
No carpets in front but some industrial rubber flooring..
A bit slow and steady on the motorway but jiggles along at 60 happily for hours on end.
Fuel gauge is empty at just under 1/4 but other than that works fine
Perfect for a house move or house renovation project, sell it afterwards and you have free transport..
I can get better pics but these are all I have at the moment, the back is very nicely done out...
It's a lovely old bus and full of character but I'm spending so little time at home it's just sitting there and it should be being used, recently did a full loaded up trip to Cornwall, and briefly nudged almost 80mph at one point, I'd feel very confident driving this anywhere (with the header tank done..)
