Being realistic about things I should really sell this car as well. And I really, REALLY don't want to! This has been my daily driver for the last 6 months and it is a truly fantastic car! Its one of these cars that you can tell has had some real love put into it. I had this MOT'd yesterday and it sailed through the test with absolutley no problems. The MOT tester commented on just how lovely it is. This is a super rare SE model of which there is only a handful left and I doubt you will find one for sale let alone in this condition! It has its orignal dealer plates, dealer stickers, 2 sets of original keys even with the original dealer plastic key tags! Full owners pack also included, as well as original bill of sales!
EXTERIOR
Finished in a lovely grey metallic and galvanised from it, it is in lovely condition. Its not perfect there are marks and scratches here and there and a scratch/ding to the passenger rear quarter thats been touched in. The undersiide of this car is like new. The car has only had 3 owners including myself, the first of which owned it until around 2008 having died a few years before this and the car beeing laid up, hence the low mileage! All panels are straight (bar mentioned), all doors are rust free and all shut lines correct. Being the 90 model it had uprated colourcoded bumpers with integrated front fogs and indicators with single piece headlights. Later red rear quarters which are a vast improvement over the original orange ones. The car had been dropped 60mm and corners like its on rails. Fitted with 15 inch audi 10 spoke alloys and decent tyres. Chrome trim sets it off nicely, and this model also has super rare working front light washers. A pair of genuine HEKO front window deflectors are also fitted.
ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN
Absolute peach in this car. Gorgeous sounding 5 cylinder 2.3 10 valve engine which sound almost as good as a v8. I have full service history for this car, recent cambelt change and full service. Engine bay is in lovely condition. I've driven this all over without a single hitch. The 5 speed gearbox and clutch are spot on with no noises and the car revs freely. Sounds amazing from 3k upwards. The car is fitted with a full stainless system with rolled twin pipe exit which set off the rear perfectly. Not too loud but just right for showing off and having a trouser accident! Its also had a new secondary radiator not too long ago as well as numerous other components. I would trust this car anywhere and did consider driving it across Europe in the summer.
INTERIOR
Is immaculate. High spec so its got all electric windows, electric slide and tilt solid sunroof, 3 VDO guages, electric heated mirrors, and extremely rare trip computer in full working order. Its a lovely retro interior and really makes this a special car. Everything works as it should. The car has an uprated audi speaker system (looks the part) and it even has headphone jacks in the rear! Full grey striped velour interior. I have a pair of sports front seats to go with the car at the right price, only reason I havent fitted is that the drivers bolster needs repair. I have matching material just haven't got round to it. Buyers choice to fit or not. Uprated audi 3 soke wheel has been fitted also. Absolutley love sitting in this car its a joy.
Highly suggest viewing this brillaint car, a true classic in the making and super rare retro coolness! Very very reluctant to sell this so if I don't get close to my asking price I'll tighten the belt and keep it. Questions welcome.
