Hi,
This is a quick sale price for one week, you could double your money breaking it no problem, but i have neither the time nor inclination, it's been a great car for me, I am selling to fund a refit of my boat, so i can have it ready for the summer holidays,
The only reason this car desont have an MOT is the ABS light is on, it needs a new pump, i have the pump here included with sale but not had the time to fit it or MOT it.
Make: BMW
Model: 328i manual convertible
Year of manufacture: 1995
Colour: Green
Engine: 2.8 6cyl 24v
Mileage: 83k
MOT: Nope
Tax: End of May
PM or 0777 19 nine eight 8 eight 2
All handbooks, Full service history will all stamps and every MOT from new...
I have given the whole car a pilosh and detail, plus a full valet inside and out since these photos were taken so it looks quite spangly now!
So it's a 1995 328i dark metallic green with full leather
83k from new!
Not long had a full service with top stuff cost (£90 in parts)
First time starter and runs as nicely as you'd expect with 81k on it...
Zavoli sequential LPG with fitting certificate, running problem when on lpg, will only run above 3k atm suspect it needs a new vaporizer or the existing one cleaning out brand new vapriser will be around 60-90 depending on quality and then will need recalibnrating, software and lead are £30 I can help with all this if required , it's all easy simply DIY work don't be scared...
Goes like a stabbed rat.
rare manual box, gearchange is getting stiffer when very cold or very warm, suspect clutch is dragging, duel mass is knocking BUT have a new gearbox good used clutch and Duel mass + clutch slave to go with it. (this would make £100 on ebay by itself)
period alpine stereo which sounds blooming lovely with CD changer in boot
good arches and later 16" e46 wheels
some history and certificate for lpg...
reliable daily, good tyres all round, I have commuted in it no problems at all, and it's great fun in the wet!
So good points:
full leather
top of the range sequential LPG
roof in nice condition as it rear window
low mileage
Some tax and fuel
history
fast and fun
later wheels
Bad points:
needs a seam in the roof sewing up, no rips but seam has come unravled, DIY job with waxed cotton or tiny job for a trimmer
needs new operating rods for the roof, simple bolt on job, just had a bent rod, cheap on ebay or ask KFW on here nicely
Gearbox wants looking at BUT every possible part supplied
paint on bonnet and one small spot on rear wing where laquer is shonky
Bit of a mixed bag, but with the tiny mileage manual box and sequential LPG you could have a summer budget blaster that costs peanuts to run...
