Sadly - She must go to a new home as I have neither the Time or available cash to fix her. she has done a lot of miles since I had her and has really been a blast, If i could keep it I would.
Hoping to sell to someone on here that will get the old bird back on the road where she belongs - definatley too good to break!
To summarise the good bits:
*Audi 80 1.9tdi 1z engine
*Interior is in great condition <needs a rubber knob for n/s mirror adjuster>
*New exhaust last year + N/S rear shock.
*Just had brand new Delco Front brake calipers, TRW discs, and LPR pads - done less than 100 miles
*Religiously serviced by myslef using only Bosch and Mahle parts with Fuchs Oil every 8000 miles.
*Mpg still in high 50's on long runs <best I had was 726miles from the tank>
*Comes with new H/Gasket, new Thermostat, Febi uprated Top mounts, and Diesel filter
*Both sets of wheels and tyres. <Kamei stars, and KM's pictured> locking wheels nuts
*Solid underneath
*Clear indicators and Osram Night breaker bulbs in Headlamps.
*Nice Sony plod CD player with remote fitted <wiring for sub+amp already routed>
*Tow bar and double hookup fitted.
*Front door speaker enclosures included <not fitted>
*New alternator belt and PAS belt fitted, needs tightening but works
Things that make it less from perfect:
*A little battle scarred with bumps and dings ultimately a respray is needed to due botched spray by one of the previous owners
*Central locking doesn't work <suspected dead pump> but blowing on the pipes in the boot does push the locks up.
*Boot lock jammed in the cold this year - haven't managed to to un-jam it, boot still closes on latch and opens fine.
*Obvious engine trouble - unsure of exact problem but not terminal!
*Steering rack Gaiters need replacement <about £7 from GSF> and is a 20 minute job.
Tax and Test till April, car will drive, but is not a driveway if you know what i mean!
