MOT/Tax until end of April. Good points: cam belt change, sparks, pads front rear, rear exhaust, air filter, vacuum hoses within the last 6k miles, new KYB shocks, new bump stops, new lesjofors 30mm drop springs, distributor cap, rotor, leads, fuel/oil filter within last few hundred miles. Bad points: has been welded (properly) at rear of both sills (Dinitrol rust converter and wax by me into whole of sills afterwards), drivers door was bent prior to my ownership see photo but closes flush and properly, shallow dent on driver's side wing see photo, small scrape on rear driver's arch didn't photo properly, rear hatch struts are weak. Late 91 without EGR so goes nicely, with a sweet little exhaust note and that crisp gear box. a lot of fun to drive. Comes with NOS front wishbones and NOS front bumper, door pins and a few other bits and pieces, good history including original sales literature etc. I would have no hesitation in driving to Mongolia in this little beast and we will be sad to see her go but too many cars at the moment. ETA: has a thatcham immobiliser too.

Is there anything you honestly think it might need for the MOT?

The guy has gone on holiday this week. I was trying to arrange a collection with him but we will have to see what happens when he gets back?
