I have a feeling it was a Colt/Mitsubishi, but don't quote me! Too bad, I did anyway! I think it's the wrong shape for a mitsubishi. They're a bit squarer. Anyway, Colts are the little hatches. Starions are the awesome 80s space ships and Galants are their answer to the family sedan. It really feels like a Toyota shape but I can't pick it!

I'd have gone a TE70-ish series corolla, rather than a corona.

Definitely looks like that Corona, except for the front. Quarter light is spot on.

It was the quarter light that I initially looked at, suppose the front could have been revised at some stage. Logo on the wheels is definitely Toyota too.

At least there was something worth while at the show. I imagined it being full of Chinese European design rip off chod.
Incidentally my friend has just arrived in the Philippines........... having cycled from South East London!! Currently staying in Cebu city I think then heading up to Manila and the IJM offices (the charity he's cycling for)

They're certainly not going to run out of things to do here any time soon. Personally I was hoping it was all going to be Chinese European design rip off chod. I kinda enjoy seeing that junk! Plenty of chod, just couldn't be arsed taking pic of it. I'll remember next time, should there be one! Been meaning to take a pic of this for ages. As seen in our office...

I'm surprised it doesn't tell you to 'break glass with axe' lol Having put out a fire at my last apartment, they can go mate with spiders. The cooker hood caught fire and wasn't wired in via any of the circuit breakers so I couldn't kill it. Only thing to do was give it a dose of the powder extinguisher. Fire out, job done and tidied up. Reported the problem to the office the following day and the first thing they tried to hit me with was a bill for refilling the extinguisher. Told them that next time, I'll just call the fire brigade and go for a beer and they can explain to the evacuated residents of a 16 floor block why the wiring was so shoddy. Tossers! If the office bursts into flames (please)then I'll immediately evacuate the building, collecting my driver on the way, and head home for a cold one. Beats having some shitforbrains trying to deduct a pane of fragile glass from my invoice!😊 Edit to add: As a smoker in Mr Duterte's Philippines, I find his law is interpreted in interesting ways. Basically it says the same as the UK ones, and fair enough. The bar I am currently sat in has an outside bit and it's fine to smoke. Ask for an ashtray? "Not allowed, Sir." Huh?

I'd have gone a TE70-ish series corolla, rather than a corona. The Force is strong in this one!

Nah, nothing. I was tramping the streets till one this morning then Madam took the early shift.
Been 30 hours now. Trouble is we've not been there long enough for people to know us and the dogs and also not long enough for him to know his way around.
Keep hoping, but this isn't the best city for a stray dog. 😞

That's not good much as we complain about our dogs, particularly the Spaniel that seems to think it's a duck, I couldn't bear to think of one of them going missing. She actively seeks out puddles, streams, mud etc.

Hot off the press, and what a great way to celebrate the century! I got home last night to find a big stack of ‘Missing Dog’ leaflets. Now, the Americans would have used a B52 as a distribution tool, but Madam is a bit more hands-on than that and had recruited a herd of assorted cousins along with some other waifs and strays who, for a good feed apiece, were willing to traipse around the neighbourhood dishing out bits of paper with dog pictures on them to startled passers-by. And it only bloody worked! She got a call this morning and the boy is now home, safe and currently getting a much needed wash. Seems that apart from being mucky (white is not a good colour for a Manila dog – especially if you choose to sleep under a car) he seems to be no worse for his experience. We have a very happy Madam. Me too, now I think on! Forgot this in the recent turmoil. Madam had decided apropos of nothing, to buy me a new pair of shorts… Now you know as much about them as I do.
