1992 MX5 1.6 Drift/Modified
Here for sale is my modified/Drift spec MX5. I don't really want to sell it but unfortunately it's just not practical for what i need. I live on the edge of the peak district and the roads are killing it!
Brief spec -
1.6
LSD
Coilovers (not sure on make)
Uprated Front anti-roll bar
Front strut brace
Rear upper and lower strut brace
Cat back exhaust with J can (loud)
Holes drilled in front and rear bumper
Yellow tinted front lights
Chrome fuel cap
Rare side skirts
Cobra bucket seats
Luke racing harnesses
deep dish steering wheel
Camo dash and door card inserts
It's low...very low. If i could find my C spanner I'd raise it up a bit...and it's loud. It certainly isn't a car for the shy! It runs and drives really well, and although you feel every bump in the road it handles like it's on rails. It's rust free as well, and has plenty of MOT and tax (August 2014)
Bad points? -
Alternator is on it's way out, noisy bearings!
Dull matt paintwork,, rolled arches
Lack of interior trim
General wear and tear
Split in the rear screen
All in all its a good little MX5, set up really well, ideal for drift days, track days, or breaking for all the good bits on it! It won't win any beauty contests but will put a smile on your face!
