Hello people,
My cars boot plastics are looking a bit ropey from all the parts hauling I've been doing. I've had a bright idea to paint it with some sort of rubber paint designed for van load beds. Do any products exist? I've seen 'Protectakote' but that looks a little "industrial".
With the plastics being beige it will mean I can change the colour whilst I'm at it :-)
Thanks in advance.

Proper truck liner paint is very tough but also not cheap. Last time I looked it was something like £50 for enough to do the back of an average vehicle. It might be far cheaper to simply source good used trim panels. I use my Smart (don't laugh too much as it's got quite a big boot plus legal towbar) as a workhorse and keep in intending to make a ply liner with hinges for corners so it'd fold down flat. Is the car you are referring to the Golf ? If so there are ready made boot liners.

Yeah, it's my Golf estate. I've got two boot liners, one soft with a grip mat and one hard with deep sides. The trouble is, I'm scratching my trim to shiz. So wanted something a bit more durable. A bit of a half way house between comfort and commercial.

It's ruined either way if you ask me
