Hey, here is the reluctant sale of my beloved Triumph Acclaim, she's an 84 HLS, with 52,000, the interior is nearly mint and the engine is still strong and pulls like a train, ive never had a problem and to be honest it runs and drives more like a car made ten years ago, not 30! she's got 10/11 month mot and 5 months tax, she's ready to go, the wheels are classic MK1 Sirroco alloys and sit nice on her, they have nearly brand new toyo proxies all round, 1 wheel has a slight dent from previous owner but all straight and hold air fine! number plate was off in these pics due to reversing round and touched a rock on my drive and it fell of!f but no damage to car! its back on now better pics on request! only problems with the car is advisories of disks and pads on front wheels, and the pipe on the end of the back box fell off due to rot and there's surface rust showing through on one back D/S arch, (both rear arches have been previously re-worked and two patches on sill have been done) so bit of TLC and some new brakes and a nicer back box would do her good! selling due to being on a part time wage and as I'm 19 I don't qualify for classic insurance yet and the insurance is £130 pound a month for me, she has been taken care of with plans for a new paint job and engine tune ahead I just cant afford it Personal Message me for any more info, genuine interest only please! (The acclaim is a direct copy of the Honda Ballade, the Ballade was the first ever civic sedan and predecessor of all civics we have today, powered by the HONDA EN4 TWIN KEHIN CARBED 1335cc engine, I thaught it would be neat to see if anyones interested in a sweet little car with alot of history) there are only 60 registered HLS models left in the uk and this is a very rare car, hoping it goes to a good home where it can get some TLC and hopefully end up looking pretty cool!
