Finally decided to sell my little kei car due to buying our first house. Unfortunately I just won't have the time or the room any more...it's a 1990 daihatsu mira TR-XX Avanzato L200s.
The engine is 660cc 3 cylinder twin cam 12v multi point injection petrol turbo!
The car is ultra rare, I know of only one other here in the uk!
It's basically a 3 door Perodua nipper.. But with a body kit and a highly tuneable turbo engine
I've owned this since late 2009 and it's had a lot of work.
I'm a trained technician by trade so it's been properly looked after. Regularly serviced by myself.

Heater box and carpets put back in
Fully wax oiled underneath
Both front foot wells welded (rot cut out and fresh metal welded in, zinc and seam sealer protected) photos available on request
New recored radiator fitted
New Perodua 850cc clutch kit fitted
New bottom arms
Daihatsu timing belt and tensioner
Daihatsu thermostat
Hybrid tong turbo TDO4-rhf3 fitted in the summer of August 2010
Toyota starlet top mount intercooler customer modded to fit (currently not on the car.. See below)

All the tuning has been carried out by me. It's easier to explain over the phone rather than in writing.

It's taxed and tested till may 2014
Extremely good on fuel, £20 will last me 7 days which is about 45-50mpg running to work. I've had 60-65mpg on a run.
There really is loads more to say but I think you'll be reading forever.
Bad bits...
It's 24 years old.. Remember that
The stem seals are leaking and this shows when you coast down a hill (vaccum is pulling the oil into the combustion chamber) it's always done it so I bought a complete second hand engine a couple of years ago.
I have a full top end gasket set including a uprated metal gasket.
The cylinder head is currently at my place of worked all stripped..
It wants tuning, since the new manifold it's completely changed the current tune and how the engine reacts. My plans included having a tubular exhaust manifold made and a front mount intercooler.
Due to the age of the car, you just can't get it remapped. It has to be down using the apexi and some knowledge of air fuel ratios... I can explain all this better to anyone who is interested.
It requires a new bosch wideband sensor as the current one is worn.
I suppose you could class it as a ongoing project, that's how I've treated it although I've used it everyday for work in conjunction with my other kei car a Suzuki alto works ( may also be up for sale)

The price.. It's worth what ever it's worth to someone. You couldn't find another one like this, not in this country. Not with the spares and certainly not with all the background info.
