I came in here expecting not much to be honest, but with an open mind. My previously open mind has now been blown.
Lots to like there, awesome use of an otherwise deeply unloved car, are those SRT8 wheels?

Actually looking at it again there is a huge ammount of work gone into the body on that.
Those flared arches with vents in them, the ground effects/undertray at the back and I absolutely love the sidepipes. Awesome.

I disagree, I think the front is just how it ought to be. They set themselves some challenge by tackling the Aztec, a car less attractive even than a Nissan Juke and somehow, against all the odds, pulled off something pretty decent.

Whilst I admire the effort that's gone in to shoehorning that behemoth of a motor in there (and I really do), aesthetically it does less for me than Ami Winehouse on a comedown after a 3 week blowout.

Amazing amount of work there with a curious amount of front structure retained & the rest replaced by custom work.
Even those side pipe exits must also have affected body structure that they would have had to replace/reinforce somehow.
The huge wheels & drop disguise its size so it's starting to look like a Focus.

Yep that works.  Reminds me of the newish Chrysler 300 Touring/Dodge Magnum, even the wheels look similar. |

I used to go to Miami once a year for a conference (I know, tough gig). Got there one year and the nice man at the hire desk at the airport sends me off with a set of keys. I find an Aztek in the bay.... Went back and tried to switch to another car. I told him it was too big for me.....couldn't really tell him it was too ugly for words. Eventually he throws another set of keys at me - when I got to the right bay, there was a black Mustang convertible.
Might have stuck with the Aztek if it'd had an LS-1
