	Just wondering what everyone's personal favourites are. Mine of course are Minis. Standard ones, Clubmans, Estates, Mokes, etc... There all great ;D Sorry for the off topicness here. I've just split up with my partner of 5 years So not feeling my usual happy self today and could do with some cheering up.

	I don't care what make of car is, any car can be improved. I'm still well into hot rods but too expensive for me at the mo, which is the reason for the volv. If I can't afford to look good I might aswell go fast so nobody can see me lol Matt

	I think if I had to pick cars from an era it would be the late 50's/ 60's....not because they are necessarily better or more stylish than any other, but for the huge change in British social history they helped bring about, as we embarked on 'The Motorway Age'.. So, I'd have to pick these as my favourite retros.... Plus of course there's my love of hotrods and customs, anything made by Land-Rover, historic race and rally cars.... I've certainly had my eyes opened and horizons well and truly broadened since I joined Retro-Rides though. I have a better appreciation for Japanese tin now than I've ever had, even though I don't feel the desire to own any.

	I like everything really - but I'd say my niche is seeing one thing and then applying it to something completely unexpected (and cheap!). I have a soft spot for Heralds, I follow the VW (water and aircooled) and Hot Rod/Custom scenes and love J-rides! ;D

	i think my fave retro is always going to be the estelle. it just captures me. on a positive cheery note (how?!) you aren't the only one - i spent yesterday splitting up with the gf/ex-fiancee for like the 27,000th time. we've tried to make it work like 4 or 5 times in the last 5 years. add me on msn if you want mate. pix i might do when less tired. of the estelle that is
