With great regret ive decided to sell my 2l nova track car project..
Ive spent many hours and a fair amount of money on this project, its great fun, handles very well and has bags of torque but however much ive tried i just cant relive my youth... its just not the car for me! so I'm selling it to fund something more me..
Its started off as a genuine "mothered" 65 thousand mile non sunroof 1.2l merit plus.
Its since been fitted with a c20ne 2l 8v engine from a low mileage calibra auto.
this has been treated to a f20 gearbox with lightened flywheel, astra gsi 230mm clutch. brand new inner and outer cv joints and purpose made shafts (a lot stronger than orig) with bigger hubs to suit.(bought as a kit from lmf vauxhall specialists at great expense)
The engine is running a set of fzs1000 fazer bike carbs on custom inlet and a Nodiz programable coilpack ignition ecu.
Exhaust is a brand new sportex 2 inch system.
Suspension is new ebay special coil over kit (actually quite reasonable)with strut braces front and rear.
Interior is std merrit with 6 dial gsi clocks. immaculate gsi front seats. rear is currently running without seats although they are still here if buyer wants then along with a whole host of std parts.. also a "momo-alike" steering wheel...
The body is in very good condition with no previous welding being carried out as afar as i can see.. however there is a small few amount of rust on the front valence (only visable when bumper removed) and a section under engine bay on one seam that may just need treating as opposed to welding its not holed.
The car has tax and test so is available to just jump in and drive.
please not the cavalier slab wheels are NOT included in the sale but i would consider selling them as an extra or part of a deal.. instead the black sri wheels will be on the car..
