Hello this is my ford escort 1.6L 1990 G925TKR it is fitted with a 1.8L 130 bhp zetec engine mot is 26/06/2014 road tax is 31/03/3014 the shell has 68769 miles on it with 6 mots and a folde-r full of receipts.The interior has escort rs turbo 90 spec front seats a jvc cd player exhaust is escort rs turbo s2 s/s braided hoses all round front calipers are st24 pads ferodo premier discs are 2wd cosworth drilled and grooved fresh dot 4 fluid (stops very well).The wheels are s2 turbo with four matching avon zv3 195/50/15 tyres and the spare is a turbo wheel and tyre in the boot but it is the standard silver,the rest of the car is how it left the factory.
The shell on the car has only covered 69k I have the last 6 mots with miles going back to 58k so has only covered 11k in 7 years I belive that the mileage is correct because the car is very clean and rust free and I think it is still the original paint,the only welding it has had are the two front seat mounts, there is a build for this (see bottom of listing).A friend of mine did the conversion last winter the engine runs spot on and the gearbox is nice and smooth ,this being the L model it has no electrics no power steering or abs just a face off cd player with component speakers front and rear and a sunroof which opens mint and has a wind deflector as well everything on the car works but the petrol cap has a different key but its all good. The paint has only minor marks and very minor rust spots the boot has a couple of rust spots just bellow the lock and the bonnet has small stone chips which have been touched up and a very small rust patch none of these are bigger than a 5 pence piece, the drivers side sill has small bubbling right at the bottom very minor rust on the sill lip but I am making it sound worse than it is but the rest is mint the battery tray the inner wings the boot floor every wear is mint and still the original red and grey underneath it is very clean shell.
The work which has been done includes cambelt water pump antifreeze discs pads turbo tank cleaned and painted new fuel pipes plugs x4 coil pack bottom arms gearbox oil new fuel pump wiper blades x3 s2 turbo exhaust front recaros ecu in glove box engine mounts s/s flexis etc etc it lists everything in the build thread on retrorides readers rides section. I have been as honest as I can in the listing it has done about 3k since the conversion so no wear on anything it runs mint.
