Not sure I can help but looks like a nice bike. Possibly Olmo leader? Check this link... www.lfgss.com/thread52174.htmlLots of Olmo's in there. Are the spokes plastic or carbon? The Giant TCR had those wheels and they were definitely carbon spokes. Ben

The spokes are carbon fibre rims are rigida dp18,the columbus bit is the tubing its made from.
Olmo are italian and are very prolific with their models so it could be any one of a number of models.i think the signature on the frame near the seat tube is guiseppe olmo who used to ride a bike in the 30's
I would guess with the shifters being on the downtube that this might be from the 70's or 80's.
Vintage racers are popular try typing olmo columbus into the dreaded ebay for an idea of what you might get price wise

It's quite a bog standard sports bike, my son raced on one as is first GOOD ROAD BIKE when he was about 14, that frame only cost about £100 new, but they are a good well made frame, the equipment on yours is not too bad, but not top of the range - You might get £75 for it if you are lucky.

And I've just seen the Giant sticker on the rim so they are definitely carbon spokes.
There is a "whats it worth" thread over on retrobike.co.uk. They should give you an idea of the price range.

I'd agree with you but ppl will pay that or close to it. Crazy as it may sound. To the OP: Personally I think you'll be unfortunate if you get less than £150 for it. Olmo's aren't hugely collectable but they're nice enough. BUT you were given it weren't you? Seems a bit off to be selling it, unless you're selling it to give the money to your neighbour? Surely they gave it to you so you'd ride it?
