I need something with more space for biking and camping trips, so this has to go.
139K miles.
Dealer stamps up to 84k miles and some service history from previous owners. I've done most of the maintenance since buying it, which I've recorded.
MOT and tax expire end of March. Passed last time with only two advisories: defective spare tire (which I have since pumped up), and minor leak of exhaust gases (which has been there a number of years).
This is my daily transport covering 500 miles a month, and also took it to the Continent last year. Has been perfectly reliable (once I replaced the starter motor, which cured the hot start problem, and replaced the leaking radiator).
Paintwork has a few scratches and dings, but is in good general condition. Comes with water temperature, boost, and oil temperature gauges fitted. The first two work, the other doesn't. I have run a wire for it into the engine bay, and have the sensor, adapter, replacement sump with extra threaded hole and new gasket (all of which I'll include), but lost heart after reading what a pain it can be to get the sump to re-seal.
Also has minimalist home-made stereo - on/off switch and line input only. Works really well, not the most professionally finished inside but it'll do. The parcel shelf is also pre-cut for 6x9 speakers.
The main bad point is that the area inside the front left wing is kinda crusty, but you can't really see it so I've never really worried about it. The chassis rail looks fine. Also the power steering belt squeals on full lock - I replaced it but never did work out how to tension it properly.
Good fun to drive and economical (I get over 50mpg).
£650 ono. I'm in Cardiff.
