Anyone tell me a scrapyard source of an umbrella handbrake. I know 2CV, some old Renaults, Rover P5, XJ6 etc had them but they aren't exactly common in scrapyards now so I'm after a relatively modern vehicles that there is a reasonable chance of finding  Thanks. Paul H |

Mercedes W126 S-Class had one - again not the most common car to have one. I've got a feeling that the 1994 on C class had them too although I could be mistaken!

My Mahindra has one ! Virtually impossible to reach though with seatbelt on as hidden under the lowest point of the dash.
I'm interested in one for a potential kit car that will need some alterations to suit my disabilities.

I think Bedford Midi's have them. Again a bit old but any commercials with bench seats might have them. Early Cortinas, Classics and Corsairs had them as well, remember my Dad doing handbrake turns in the Classic !

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary. |
